2011 Tornado Resources

In April 2011, many states in the southern part of the United States were affected by a record number of tornadoes. The storms led to the death of over 320 people, and caused destruction totaling tens of millions of dollars. Entire towns were flattened. Here are some helpful resources for individuals who may need support or would like to reach out to those in need:

There is a Facebook page directly titled Pictures and Documents found after the April 27, 2011 Tornadoes. People were invited to post photos of any items they found (many were projected over 150 miles from the tornado sites) along with their e-mail address so that they could be claimed by storm survivors.
