Session Description: EAPs are threatened by advances in AI and Apps. At the same time some advances and apps offer opportunities to both EA professionals and EAPs. Fortunately, EAPs and EA professionals can gradually upgrade themselves to offer cutting edge services. The presentation reviews the key technologies to adopt on the road to EAP 2.0.

Presenter Bio: Marina London LCSW, CEAP is the Director of Communications for the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA), as well as a former EAP executive. In this capacity, she develops and maintains content for EAPA's website and oversees the publication of the quarterly Journal of Employee Assistance (JEA) and the weekly electronic EAP Newsbrief.
Prior to working at EAPA Marina was an executive at several national employee assistance programs, serving as Director of Clinical Services, Director of Account Management and Vice President of Operations.
Marina is an acknowledged expert on the interface of technology with employee assistance and mental health. She is the author of the award winning iWebU.info tech blog and also writes a quarterly column on “Technology Trends” for the JEA. She presents on tech topics and “How to Start an EAP” at national and international conferences. Her most recent webinar was on “Cybersecurity for EAPs and EA Professionals.” Marina has a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in Psychology from Yale University and a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University.
