Session Description: This webinar is designed to provide EAP’s and HR departments with a practical strategy to jointly address the number one productivity drain that employees are facing: financial stress. Best practices and case examples will be discussed. Detailed information will be provided illustrating how EAPs can increase financial EAP utilization significantly by asking employees one simple question at intake. HR personnel will be given specific signs and symptoms of a financially stressed employee.   A combined strategy will lay the foundation for employee awareness, engagement and positive outcomes to address the growing need of financial wellbeing for today’s workforce.

Presenter Bio: Cindy’s career has spanned over 35 years in the behavioral health industry. Areas of expertise include Employee Assistance Programs and Wellness.  She has held many executive positions with national and regional companies to include Horizon Behavioral Services, Psychiatric Solutions, Inc., Aetna, E4 Health and My Secure Advantage. Cindy has provided hundreds of EAP training sessions and related wellness presentations during her career and speaks at conferences to include EAPA. Cindy has a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University and a masters from Western Kentucky University.  Originally from Elizabethtown, Kentucky, she now lives in Owensboro Kentucky with her husband Ed. Cindy has been a board member of the Jason Foundation since 2012 and is also the Co-Chair of the JFI National Speakers Bureau. She enjoys playing golf, skiing and volunteering at Christ Community Church.
