EAPA Chapter/Branch Leader Town Hall meetings for 2018
The next EAPA Chapter/Branch Leader virtual Town Hall meeting will be held Thursday, December 13, 2018, 12 noon – 2:00 PM USA/East. Meetings are hosted by the EAPA Board of Directors and include updates from the Board committees, task forces, and EAPA staff. There is plenty of time for discussion on topics that interest you! Forward any questions or suggestions for agenda topics to firstname.lastname@example.org. Future virtual meetings will be held in the EAPA online meeting room. Detailed agendas and log-in instructions with dial-in numbers will be sent out prior to each meeting.

China conference announced
The Chinese Society of Psychology, the Institute of Psychological science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) and the Chinese Employee Assistance Professionals Association (CEAPA) are holding a two day conference November 24 and 25, 2018 in the city of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The theme of the conference is “Service to Society: Sharing Construction, Governance and Resources; Innovation in Governance: Health, Efficiency and Happiness." North Carolina EAPA Chapter announces 40th Annual March Conference
The March 20-22, 2019 conference will be held at the Winston-Salem Marriott. This year’s theme is "Under Construction: Building the Future of EAP." More info to follow.
South Carolina EAPA chapter announces spring 2019 conference
SCEAPA’s 2019 Annual EAP Conference will be held in Greer, South Carolina, on April 8, 2019. The conference theme is “SPARK: Dynamic Work in the Employee Assistance Field.” It will focus on changing dynamics in employee assistance and the core components that combine to create a unique approach to addressing work-organization productivity issues and “employee client” personal concerns affecting job performance. Alabama chapter announces annual conference
Registration is now open for the 32nd annual conference in Orange Beach, Alabama which will be held May 7th-10th, 2019. The exciting event will offer 20 contact hours, (24 for nurses) for counselorsrs, social workers, nurses and employee assistance professionals. For more information, click here. Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Institute announces national seminar program for 2019
The EAP Institute is pleased to announce its national seminar program 2019 which will take place in various locations in Ireland including Dublin, Limerick, Kilkenny, Galway, Sligo and Cork. The Institute begins its offerings on January 31, and will offer high value seminars on topics that have current relevance to the workplace. Currently employers are required to comply and manage the risks associated with workplace mental health, employee health and wellbeing, and workplace intoxicants (defined as drugs and alcohol.)
