EAPA Chapter/Branch Leader Town Hall meetings for 2019
Meetings are hosted by the EAPA Board of Directors and include updates from the Board committees, task forces, and EAPA staff. There is plenty of time for discussion on topics that interest you! Forward any questions or suggestions for agenda topics to president@eapassn.org. Future virtual meetings will be held in the EAPA online meeting room. Upcoming dates for Town Hall meetings in 2019 are: Thursday, June 6, Thursday, August 22, and Thursday, December 12. Detailed agendas and log-in instructions with dial-in numbers will be sent out prior to each meeting.

IN PERSON MEETINGS

Pacific Northwest chapter announces annual conference
On May 17, 2019, the chapter will offer an all day conference on "Assessing Disruptive Behavior in the Workplace." The meetng will be held at the Wellspring Family Services 1900 Rainier Avenue, in South Seattle, WA. Fior more info about the program and registration, read the flyer.

41st Annual NIEAPA Conference
The Northern Illinois chapter announced their 2019 conference "Real People, Real Problems, Real Solutions" to be held Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 7:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Drury Lane Conference Center, 100 Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace, IL. Pre-Conference date and time is Monday, June 3, 2019 from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. For more information, click here

Greater Toledo Chapter will offer June all day conference
The conference will be held June 14, 2019, from 8:00am - 4:00pm at St. Anne’s Hospital. The topic "Angry Individuals through Active Shooters in the Workplace: Identifying and Responding to Distressed Employees" will be presented by Kenneth L. Connecticut Chapter announces conference
The Connecticut Chapter of EAPA Presents "360 DEGREE LOOK AT EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS: What We Do, What We Don’t Do, & Where We Are Going,” on Thursday, June 20, 2019, from 7:30 am – 2:30 pm. South Florida Chapter announces annual conference
The chapter's annual conference will take place on June 21, 2019, and held from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm featuring a full day of seminars.  There will be exhibitors with information about their treatment programs. EAP Institute will present implications on mental health seminars in Kilkenny Thursday 31st January 2019 and Galway Thursday 21st March 2019. Book online.

EAP Institute Seminar will present a strategy for developing an integrated health and wellbeing programme which will include workplace physical and mental health risks in Dublin, Limerick and Sligo. Under Section 22(1) of the SHWW Act 2005, every employer must ensure that health surveillance appropriate to the risks to safety, health and welfare that may be incurred at the place of work identified by the risk assessment under section 19 is made available to his or her employees.
