For all CEAP candidates or re-certifying CEAPs as of July 1, 2010
Are you a CEAP Candidate?
- Elevating Ethical Awareness - is the course you need to take!
- Two hours, Domain 1, Content specifically approved by EACC for new CEAP candidates.
- This course cannot be archived. Interraction is a required course element.
- International branches/members are encouraged to contact us regarding course scheduling needs.
Are you already a CEAP?
- General ethics courses are not sufficient to meet the new requirement.
- Two hours, Domain 1, EAP-specific ethics training course.
- Elevating Ethical Awareness - is one option. Here are some others:
PDH/CE Informatio n:
Elevating Ethical Awareness - In addition to PDH credit and CE contact hours approved by NBCC and the CBBS, the following CE contact hour credit applies:
- The online version of this course also includes NBCC credit.
- The Annual World Conference version of this course also includes NASW and NBCC credit.
Are you a Chapter/Branch Leader who wants to provide Elevating Ethical Awareness to your members?
- You'll find the trainer's guide and the slide deck in the Chapter/Branch Leader's Toolkit.
- Your chapter/branch will need to identify an appropriate trainer (must be current CEAP) and apply for PDHs as you would for any training.
- The course materials are free for chapter and branch use. EAPA reserves all rights.
All other ethics offerings - all ethics sessions offered by the EAPA Learning Center include PDH credit and CE credit from NAADAC and the CBBS. NASW or NBCC credit may be available depending upon the context in which the course is delivered. Specifically, NASW credit applies to the Annual World EAP Conference, either live or via the EAPA Learning Center's Conference online. NBCC credit applies to all live trainings (Annual World EAP Conference, live online courses, live webinars), but not to any archived webinars or the EAPA Learning Center's Conference Online content.
