GovBenefits.gov is the official benefits web site of the U.S. Government, and lists more than 1,000 government benefit and assistance programs. For each program, GovBenefits.gov features a detailed program description, eligibility criteria, and point of contact information. From the web site's Community Advocates page, you can search for programs by life event or category, such as housing, nutrition, health care, education, disaster relief, and more. This section also includes a free, confidential, on-line questionnaire that connects a client to a full list of programs that they may be eligible to receive.

Addiction Search is a website with over 750 links to research-based resources for health consumers, addiction treatment professionals, educators, and researchers. The site has been in existence for six years, and is currently a key destination for those who are seeking reliable, scientific information about various addictions, their effect on key populations, societal issues related to addiction, and drug treatments. The site is regularly updated with new resources and offers a database of 70,000 treatment centers, private professionals, health clinics, and counseling services for those seeking help.
NLM Gateway
The NLM Gateway provides access to multiple databases maintained by the National Library of Medicine, including MEDLINE and others. These databases index various types of health-related resources including citations to journal articles, books, and meeting abstracts.
PsychInfo
The PsychInfo database provides searchable access to published psychological and social sciences literature. A 24-hour pass to the system costs $9.95.
PubMed
The PubMed database provides citations to 4500 journals, covering all aspects of health and medicine, including behavioral health.
