Session Description:
This workshop will assist EAP professionals understand roles and issues of care giving, to help facilitate better communication with clients and their families. Stress management strategies will be presented for balancing work, care-giving with other life responsibilities. Participants will also receive information about community resources to better prepare them to support the care-giving issues their clients present with.

Kelsey has been providing counseling, coaching and professional training services for various healthcare organizations, private companies, and Employee Assistance Programs for over 25 years. She has a B.A. from Kent State University in Individual and Family Studies, is a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with Supervisory credentials (LICDC-CS), Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), a Certified 2 Young 2 Retire facilitator and a trained mediator. In 2002, she launched Eldercare Professionals of Ohio, LLC, a geriatric care management company educating and supporting caregivers, consumers, and professionals.
