Session description: Stress. Uncertainty. Isolation. These are just a few of the many factors weighing heavily on today’s workforce. And as many of those workforces have now become remote, it’s even more difficult for employers to monitor employee wellbeing. In this landscape, it’s imperative that employers be as proactive as they can in supporting their teams. Relying on employees to reach out on their own if they need help may mean people not getting the help they need. Proactive support is what is needed right now, which is where employee assistance programs can provide much value. In this session, Dr. Tyler Arvig will explain the unique challenges and opportunities around maintaining the wellbeing of a remote workforce. He will also provide ways that you, as the employee assistance professional, can best help your clients who are facing these challenges and provide actionable steps they can take to support their workforce.
Learning Objectives: Understand challenges and opportunities associated with maintaining wellbeing of a remote workforce; Learn about proven employee assistance approaches to improve the remote worker experience; Implementable solutions for clients to effectively support the wellbeing of remote workforces
