An ancient practice that has been used for thousands of years across ancient civilizations and holds, to this day, to be one of the most simple yet effective and engaging practices for completely invigorating one’s immunology and biochemistry. In this webinar, Shégan will explore COVID19 as a significant context that invites us to go deeper to unlock and activate our potential. He will introduce all participants to the fundamental pillars of respiratory health as an integral to understanding the role of breathwork in wellness. He will provide all participants with a guided meditation and breathwork session which will include Coherent Resonance (HRV) breathing, as well as circular breathing (WHM). Shégan’s presentation will include some of the cutting edge research that has been published internationally to support the case for breathwork as one of the most effective modalities in the treatment of depression, anxiety, burn-out, as well as other psychophysiological challenges.
  • Coming April 9: Mrs Navlika Ratangee presents The future world of work is now present: Shifts in the workplace and in the workforce that we have to make peace with Click here for details and to register.
  • Abstract: This discussion attempts to address some of the ways that the workplace has changed in expected and unforeseen ways from a practical perspective. How has the work from home culture shifted the organisational culture, how do organisations respond to working with employees remotely, how has the concept of wellbeing changed and most importantly how has the mindset of the employee shifted especially in the context of growing mental health and emotional health challenges post the pandemic. The future world of work is now present whether we were prepared for it or not. We go through some important considerations that require urgent attention if we are to continue to build or rebuild our organisations in the midst of the pandemic into post pandemic, and promote optimal productivity in the workplace.
