Why should I attend?
Chapter meetings are a great way to make professional contacts, network, discover new resources, and develop new skills.
Chapter program:
A segment of each meeting is dedicated to the introduction of members and non-members. We encourage all attendees to make announcements about upcoming events, news related to the field, and job opportunities. After announcements, an educational training is presented.
Continuing education:
Each training provides a minimum of 1.0 pre-approved professional development hours (PDH).
Cost to attend meeting:
Members - no cost
Non-members - no cost

EAPA Labor Chapter Invites you to Join us in this virtual Presentation:
Topic: “EAP’s Operating in an Organized Labor Scenario; Past, Present and Future”
Presenter: Dan Boissonneault CEAP, SAP, LAP-C
Dan started working in the EA field in 2001 as the Local Lodge EAP Coordinator for IAMAW Local Lodge 700 then assuming the position of IAMAW District 26 Senior EAP Coordinator in 2015. Dan has instructed EA training to EAP Coordinators at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Maryland. Dan had spent two consecutive terms as a Director at Large on EAPA’s Board of Directors and is currently on the Board as President-Elect. Dan will be the outgoing President of the Connecticut Chapter. Dan is a member of the Connecticut LAP Chapter and a DOT qualified SAP.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will be given an overview of the role Organized Labor has played, and continues to play, in bringing Employee Assistance into the workplace. Various EA models as well as Collective Bargaining intent and language will be presented and discussed.
